Superficial Chemical Peels

Superficial Chemical Peels

A superficial chemical peel uses a mild acid preparation to remove the outer layers of skin, stimulating the production of new skin cells. Superficial peels are a mild type of chemical peel and can be used on all skin types. The chemical is usually applied to the skin in liquid or paste form, and left in place for several minutes. Chemical peels can help to improve the tone and texture of the skin. They can also assist in the treatment of mild acne scars, mild sun or age spots.

All medical and skin cancer treatments are carried out in our southern Sydney, Kogarah, skin cancer and cosmetic surgery clinic.
